The inspiration under my roof

On Sunday my wife sacrificed something many people would never dream of… ever. Her hair.

Three weeks ago she made the decision to raise money to help a school in Zimbabwe that had many children with special needs but little to no facilities to look after them. This project is currently part of Elim International Missions. How she wanted to raise the money would go on to shock many people and inspire even more. She decided to shave her beloved hair off to the length of a number 4 – in the middle of winter! Her often repeated statement was “if I can change these children’s lives by cutting off my hair then its worth it!”

As of today at the time of the shaving event she has raised over £2500. Check out Facebook.com/charlottesheadshave for further details about this project and to donate. She will accept donations up until the end of January 2013. Currently there is a need of £10000 to provide purpose built facilities for the children.

She sacrificed. She inspired. She changed lives. She obeyed her Saviour.

Thats my wife.
